Branch Avenue in Bloom.
A new initiative to reinvigorate Branch Avenue at Naylor Road and the Saint Barnabas road Commercial corridor.
As defined by the Main Street Four Point Approach, Organize establishes consensus and cooperation by building partnerships among the various groups that have a stake in the commercial district. Since its inception, Branch Avenue In Bloom has formed partnerships with local businesses, local politicians, public safety officials, and members of the community to organize initiatives that have added value to the Branch Avenue commercial corridor.
Design Committee
Comprised of members from the community, business owners, and public officials, the Design Committee's primary role is to plan and collaborate on projects that enhance the physical appearance of the commercial corridor. These projects have included the Farmers Market, Clean Up - Green Ups, and the BAIB Urban Farm. The Design Committee meets every month at the BAIB office.
Economic Sustainability Committee
The goal of the Economic Sustainability Committee is to strengthen the district's existing economic base while finding ways to expand it to meet new opportunities and challenges from outlying development. The Economic Sustainability Committee is an affiliate of the Southern Green Line Coalition (SGLC).
Volunteers play a key role in the success of BAIB's initiatives.
